KNIGHT PARK – COLLINGSWOOD, NJ
A walk in the park. A man and his dog. Roses. Bridges. Geese and more.
Today Rocky, Jeff, and I went out looking for “something new” in order to fulfill Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge. There was a crispy, clean chill in the air, but what a fabulous day to collect some new pix. Take in the beauty of Knight Park.
Thanks to Cee for setting up a new challenge. Stop by her incredible photo blog. She is truly amazing.
I remember going to the Collingswood Auction. Is that still there?
I believe it still exists but it’s not really in Collingswood. More central jersey. Collingswood has actually become a big restaurant attraction. Lots of good eats. LOTS. 😀
Oh! It’s been years. I’ll have to explore… 🙂
You should! There are about 1,001 Italian restaurants :-), Mexican, good ol’ all American, Asian, and more. You’ll have a hard time making up your mind.
Hey hey! I’ve just been informed it’s Collingwood Auction. No ‘s’. That’s why it’s not here in Colling’s’wood. Haha. What a difference a letter makes. 🙂 but come to the Colling’s’wood restaurant extravaganza. You won’t regret it. 😉
Ah… I just googled it. Silly me. The Collingwood Auction is in Farmingdale. I just always remembered saying it WITH the ‘s’. I wonder if I am the only one who had that all mixed up in my head? 🙂 Thank you for setting me straight!
Heck! Someone else had to set me straight first 😀
wow! the color in the trees amazes me! i would have thought that the monochromatic color of winter would have waned in (out?) by now.
looks like you had a great outing. great choice of themes, cee!

Not as colorful as your outstanding art, but still pretty. 🙂
if you were in the same room as i, we would laugh at my retort!
your images are amazing and hold their own against any others! z
😉
This looks like so much fun. I love the park. All that’s missing is Rocky in the baby swing…. 🙂
That’s hysterical! He is no Cupcake. She fits perfectly. He couldn’t get his head in the swing 😉
love the photos, especially the ones of the bridge..
Thanks! :-).
Hmm, seems that your “like” button doesn’t like me… buy this will work

You are so funny! I’ve had that happen to me on many posts. If I click on the address bar and reload, sometimes I can then ‘like’.
Wonderful autumn leaf colours, Gemma. I’m sure Rocky had lots of fun, sniffing everything in sight. 🙂
Sniffing yes, but squirrels were the main point of interest. 🙂
The colors are so warm and inviting… 😉
And everywhere! It’s so beautiful. 🙂
True…. Fall is such a special time and I’m a big fan of it… not so much winter. 😉
These are beautiful. I love the sign photos. I could not of resisted capturing them. Your first one is simply gorgeous.
Thank you, Cee. Believe it or not, I thought of you when I shot the signs. You would think that would have happened when I captured the roses :-). Your flowers are always so outstanding.
How lovely, Gem. You know I love a walk.
Walking. Serves many purposes :-D.
Thanks, Jo.
Knight Park is one of the most beautiful places around during the “leaf peeping” season. You really captured it! By the way, it’s Collingwood (not Collingswood) Auction, near Englishtown and Freehold. One of my old stompin’ grounds. Another “s” thing.
Ahhhhh. I’ll go back and tell her. Thanks.
Stunning photography for Cee`s photo challenge I love it Gemma ,
