Last week I goofed BIG TIME! As much as I love Cee’s work @ Ceephotography.com, I misspoke (mistyped?) and didn’t give credit where credit was due. So after humble apologies, I am setting the record straight. THURSDAY LINGERING LOOK AT WINDOWS is hosted by Dawn at The Day After. Having said that (and after feeling foolish and illiterate – can I even read words in my native tongue?!) here’s a peek through my windows for this week.
St. Thomas’ Church – Brigantine, New Jersey
Please make me feel redeemed and stop by Dawn’s to see more wonderful window pix.
Thanks for stopping by. Thanks for liking, commenting, browsing. Thanks a bunch.
Thank you sweetie. Not only did you get it right but your windows are awesome this week! Just something about those church windows, isn’t it!
Thanks for participating and for the mention.
Phew and thanks and my pleasure 🙂
🙂
those are beautiful images, and no one could/would ever get upset with you for being human! we all make slip ups like that!
thanks for reminding me that i’m not the only one who does things like that! z
I felt bad. Like I wasn’t paying attention. Sorry. My sensitivity is showing. 🙂
Thanks for the compliment, z. 😉
I love these pictures! I used to (in my church-going days) love when I sat in just the right spot at just the right time and the sun came through the stained glass and onto me. That light is magical.
I know what you mean. I wished the day was a little sunnier when I was taking the photo, but you take what you can get. They’re beautiful, no matter what.
Gorgeous windows, Gemma. I did notice the deliberate mistake last week, but I thought that was just the teacher in you. 😀
Nah. It was the dope in me! (idiot, that is. no other ‘dope’ here!)
beautiful windows X two blogs 🙂
Gracias 😉
As a fanatical photographer & fine arts major in college I’m obsessed with elements of design, symmetry & form. Light is my friend so windows are naturally interesting to me. I’m always looking through unique windows and what surprises are on the other side. 🙂
Could be just about anything. Thanks for the visit. Like I told Gen, wish there had been more light. Guess it wasn’t in the plan that day 🙂
I wish I could show you the power of graphic software in person. It would totally change the way you take photos and raise your photographic results by at least 300%,
Gee. I didn’t think I was that bad!
300%? Frankly I like your window shots as they are but that’s me.
Ahhhhhh! Validation! Thank you! I’ve been feeling like a semi-failure all day! (Sorry. My insecurities are showing) 😀
You are my new best friend!!!!
I’m with themofman 😀
Thank you so much, poppytump. 🙂
I love stained-glass windows. They are gorgeous. What a fabulous Church. 🙂
Thanks, Angelia. I kind of liked them. It would have been prettier, I think, if the sun was shining, but…
😉
I really like the second window. It looks a bit celtic to me.
Yes it does :-). Thanks, Judy.
Love these windows. Rich, artistic, elegant! Have a great day.
Thank you, IT. 🙂
Gorgeous church, with such gorgeous windows in it.
Thanks, T2T. I appreciate the appreciation 😉
I like all the stone carving around the edges of these windows Gemma they seem to set them off even more ! Lovely .
Thanks, again!
Churches have the best windows don’t they Gemma
I know, Jo. I might have to do another. I am looking around so hard for windows, I’m bound to crash into the sidewalk while driving down the street. This is getting to be an obsession!
Oh my…maybe you better get a bike for safety sake…though crashing that might be worse for you.
😉
This coming from the girl who’s in the middle of summer! It’s 23 degrees here!
😀
Your windows are fabulous. 😉
Thank you, z. I was starting to feel unappreciated :-(. Too sensitive.
