THURSDAY LINGERING LOOK AT WINDOWS – WEEK 4

An old building. Boarded windows. Caution tape.  A story behind the boards. Who lived here? Were there children? A dog? Maybe two.

Jeff and I have driven by this place hundreds of times. It intrigues me.  Maybe some day I’ll be brave (crazy) enough to slip under the caution tape. But for now, I’ll have to get by on a lingering look.

Throw caution to the wind and stop by Dawn’s site, The Day After, for a peek through some very photogenic windows.

  1. I often look at boarded up houses … (many around here are old farms) and wonder the very same things as you. I can even ‘picture’ it in my mind, morphing back to when it was lived in with laundry on the line. 🙂

    • OH MAN, frizz! That suits this old house perfectly! I smiled all the way through that song. Thanks. Now I know the story behind those windows. 🙂

  2. It does look a bit spooky, Gemma. Just think that once it was someone’s pride and joy. We’ve passed many such abandoned houses on our road trips, and I always wonder why.
