We didn’t get hammered by snow this winter like we’ve had in years past. Sadly however, much of the east coast is getting pummeled by rain and high winds. I guess we’re lucky that we didn’t get both, but whoa! I am waterlogged! Here’s a peek into this winter’s smidge of snow. Even a little snow can be enchanting.

The deer! I see them. It took me forever and then there they were. That snow angel looks like it might have hurt! Boom. Right down to the concrete. Snow is beautiful.
Sad to say that’s our lawn but it probably was frozen like concrete. Keanna’s my side of the family. Tough!

Snow on a hot summer day…. brrr! Just started to warm up here and don’t want to think about the cold just yet 😉 Shanghai is under oppressive heat and humidity, so I am enjoying the comfortable temps and low humidity here in Canada.

It seems to be passing us, or a quick passing shower, but getting cities all around us. Toronto was flooded out this week (Monday maybe?) where an entire month of rain or more fell in 2 hours! The sewers couldn’t keep up. People had to leave cars on the road that stalled out, basements were flooded and a commuter train even flooded the main floor (it is a 2 story) and people had to be rescued. Across the lake we only had cloudy skies. Bizarre! It was a wet spring and farmer’s fields are still saturated. It is cherry season and many have rotted because of too much rain 😦 At least the temps are comfortable and not overly hot. Much more enjoyable. When I first came home 2 weeks ago I was always cold since the temps were chilly especially since they were 10-15c warmer in Shanghai.

Thanks, Cee. Kind of a special one. My niece lives in Florida. Her kids never saw snow so this was her daughter, Keanna’s first crack at an angel. Pretty good, is say. 😉

As a child at Christmas the sun was always out blaring it’s sunrays of glory. I can appreciate snow now..lol!
As adults, we see beauty where children sometimes just take for granted. It’s an age thing. 😉
