Yet another post – all about me.  Here’s the next installment in response to Cee’s challenge, Share Your World.  You, my friend, should you choose to read on, get to learn more about little ol’ me.

Here we go…

If life was ‘just a bowl of cherries’… which fruit would you rather be..?

A bowl of blueberries blanketed in scrumptious whipped cream. image

If you could witness or physically attend any event past, present or future, what would it be?

I’d like to have physically been the first to set foot on the moon.  It was fascinating to watch on the tube (remember when tv was called the “tube”?), so to actually be the first person to do it would have been extraordinary.  To infinity and beyond – for sure!

If you could know the answer to any question, besides “What is the meaning of life?”, what would it be?

Why can’t we all get along? (Maybe just knowing the answer to that question wouldn’t be enough.  Still…)

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?

Green.  The color of grass and trees and avocado shakes.

  1. I think we sit alongside each other very well Gemma Lol … blueberries and cherries 🙂
SO interesting these little snippets each week .
Love what you are doing with your photos just lately too 🙂

    • Thanks, Peggy. And thanks for visiting! I don’t fly either but the last time I mentioned that and a trip into space, a blogger told me that’s not flying. I guess it’s rocketing. ;-). Either way, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

  2. I can identify with the blueberries. (Although I would be a watermelon, most likely.)
But wow, to wish to have been the first to step foot on the moon! That is bravery and adventurousness way beyond anything I’m capable of.
    I’m in awe, Gemma.

  3. Now then, these questions – fruit – would have to be strawberries from Cheddar, which is just over the Mendips from here, and yes it is the one the cheese is named after.

The past event? I’m a huge history fan but I’m going to surprise you by going for something far nearer now. You’ve hinted above that I have some facility with images – and my choice for this question is to have been present on my paternal grandmother’s 21st birthday. Why? Because there’s a strong possibility that my abilities with images are inherited from her. Two of us, my cousin and I, both have it; he is an artist. Told you I’m weird 😉 ! I’ll put a picture of my gran on the blog sometime.

The question that I want answered is whether there is anything at all after death, or simply oblivion. How morbid is that? No alternative but to drink heavily – oh yes please! 🙂

And the crayon – red – has always been my favourite colour.

    Hope you’re fine, Gem 🙂 !!!!!

    • Haha! Thanks for playing along, Adrian. Red and strawberries. Good choices. Brilliant and expressive color (so that suits you) and yummy delicious fruit (hmmmmm…I won’t go there.) 😉
Grandma’s 21st? Not weird at all. Sweet as a strawberry, actually.

  4. Yes. Yes. Yes. And yellow. The color of the sun. Which I think in astronomy is probably white, but when I draw it, it’s yellow. I remember calling TV the tube when it actually had tubes inside of it. I need to go sit in my rocking chair now and chase kids off my lawn. That’s how old I am!
