I hate to have all this fun by myself. Stop over at Cee’s blog and share your world. But first, read All About Me. ‘Cause, ultimately, my blog is all about me. 🙂
Question #1
Have you ever bungee jumped? If you haven’t, would you want to?
Simple. Never did. Never will. I am way too much of a baby to do that. God bless you if you do. Enjoy. Have fun. Let it be your excellent adventure. Not me. Not now. Now ever! Next question, please.
Question – ah – next
For your computer Mac or Windows based computer? Desktop, laptop, Pad or other?
Toshiba Satellite Laptop, Windows based. And, after having lost my iPad 2 last week, and going through the trauma (and still going through it) of someone rifling through my stuff, I am now using an iPad 4th generation. Nice. Very nice. But I still have a knot in my stomach. (Yes, I had a passcode, but still. I just feel icky about someone using it. I lost it on the street, after foolishly putting it on top of my car when I was unloading groceries. Then drove off with it up there. I hope it got run over a million, trillion times before someone found it!)
Question #3
If you were instantly able to play one musical instrument perfectly that you never have played before, what would it be?
Guitar. Definitely. I’ve tried piano, organ, accordian (not my idea! my parents – not that there’s anything wrong with that), mandolin, guitar – never really stuck to any one of them – dope!
Question #4
Describe yourself in at least four uplifting words.
OK. Honestly?
1. Insecure (but working on it – that’s the uplifting part)
2. Honest
3. Trustworthy
4. (I’m stuck) Ah – maybe friendly
OK now, your turn. Go over to Cee’s and see what you can do about explaining yourself to us. Click on the icon below. Go on. You know you want to.
🙂
I have a small toshiba satellite pro an old one with xP o, it crashed on me ast year and I got an hP but about a month ago I dont know why, but got the Toshiba out, and then messed about with it and hey presto it is back, new lease of life.. now I have a little spare..,,, nice answers by the way,, I would not bungee. 😉
It’s nice to have a backup 😉
Bungee? Blah!!!
I hear ya on bungie jumping! Scary! And neck jolting!!! Geez Louise on your iPad2. I can’t imagine! I guess you are waiting on the new one to come out? Wonder if it will have that finger print technology? I think that type of security is very cool!
I already bought it! I knew the 2 was lost for good. No way for anyone to return it, even if they would. I’d like to think people are honest and make an effort but I am feeling very sad about society these days. I found a phone (it was a piece of, ah, garbage phone, but still felt “hey! Someone is agonizing over this, possibly.”) So I waited for someone to call, answered and asked who they were calling. Bottom line, the person got their phone back. I lost the darn thing on my street for sure. I’d knock on a few doors, but that’s me. I’m probably the dope!
Well, like you said. It was probably smashed into a million pieces and no one could read anything. 🙂
*two thumbs up*
Can’t imagine how you felt Gemma about your IPad2 :-((( so glad you are still up and running .
No bungee jump for me but have done a tandem parachute jump ..and you know I don’t like the Big Wheel but it’s different !
I like following your share my world 😉
Funny. Parachute has crossed my mind – briefly. 😉
Thank you, poppy. I’m so glad you enjoy it. Cee’s challenges are always fun. I wish I could get them all in. Ugh!
You poor thing about your ipad. But you got the new one!! Hope it is in a million zillion peices. I still have an original ipad. I don’t use it anymore now since I got my airbook. Chris uses her ipad (the small one) all the time. That is basically her home computer. She has an airbook too.
I would most definitely say you are friendly and expressive and fun.
How would we get along without them. 😉
Thanks, Cee! Expressive?! I would never have said that, but it really really like it!
So sorry to hear about your iPad2… Hope you enjoy iPad4 longer battery life and the speed.
I am hanging on for dear life! 😉
Thanks for always stopping by, Amy.
I agree with Cee about expressive and fun and friendly. And don’t forget artistic, caring, creative, funny, smart, sincere, reliable, and hard-working.
You’ve known for for, over 50 years and I’ve still got you fooled. 😆
xoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Humble. Yup, that’s you. Humble to the core.
You need to work on that 😉
If you only knew me. 😉
You know i was being facetious when I called you humble, right?
It’s tough being humble when people asks you to tell about yourself. You want to be honest and not be an ass. I tried! 😉
You are fine. but if you are awesome you should just admit it. How else we gonna know? 😉
I see that you found it hard to pick four words about yourself. That was the hardest part of my blogging challenges.

You want to be honest, but it’s hard to be objective about yourself. Also, oh Lord it’s hard to be humble, when your perfect in every way. Haha! Heard that song somewhere. I need to check your post…
So sad about your iPad, Gemma. Hubby had his stolen at Disney. 😦 You’re answer about the bungee jumping, didn’t surprise me in the least. 😀
Thanks, ad. (iPad). Stolen?! Even worse. Violation!!! Plus!!! Mine was just my own stupidity. But to flat out take it? Takes all kinds to make this world go round. Sorry as well.
Bungee? Not surprised? Why? I hope I’m not dull!!! 😉
I love reading your answers, Gem. They’re always good entertainment.
Big hug for the iPad loss (whatever one of those is 🙂 ) Duh!
I’m glad I can entertain. That’s one of my goals. Like I’ve said before, humor and entertainment – and a smile on your face. 😀
iPad? Oh, Jo! You would love it!
1. Nope.
2. I do Windows.
3. Drums.
4. Private, creative, analytical, moralistic, idealistic, loner.
Drums surprised me. Cool!
😉
OK >>> bungee >>> you’ve said it all for me, completely, 100%. I think it comes under “There are many experiences in life but they’re not all worth having”.
Very sorry to hear about your iPad >>> in a senior moment, a birder colleague left his optics on his car’s roof and drove off, then realised what he’d done and, reversing to get them, drove back over them. I’m on a PC running Windows 7 – typical me, I find something that works and stick with it, regardless of later innovations. And I only got this PC because my earlier one got sick.
Never been able to play any instrument and, although I’d like to, it’ll never happen. But if I could >>> tenor sax >>> blues in the night appeals … ???
4 uplifting words, boy you ATPs do scary things! And you start with insecure – wow, hadn’t realised that! But me, well >>> humorous, imaginative, creative, reliable, hedonistic – howzat??? 🙂
That’s good! But you play those cameras like a true musician!
Let’s see — LOVE the new photo.
Wish I could play the mandolin.
Bungee jumping? It is to laugh.
And the most extraordinary coincidence — Your blog is all about you. Guess what, my blog is all about me. And I bet everyone reading this, when they do their own blog, it’s all about them! Sisters! Brothers!
😉
Let’s see… New photo? Thanks. 😉
Mandolin? Nice sound.
Bungee, blah!
All about me. That just feels weird. What are my talents? Who’s interested? Why tell everyone all this? Brothers and sisters? I hope so, because family loves you no matter what.
😉
I certainly won’t do the bungee jumping thingy either Gemma. So sorry to hear about your iPad hon. I know the feeling and it’s not a nice one. Aren’t we all insecure? But like you say, it’s a learning process. Great post and thanks for sharing. 😀 *big hugs*
If I thought we all were insecure I would have too many people to hurt for. 😦
I wish to be confident and secure as a nut on a bolt!
😉
Thanks for the visit, sweetie.
