I’m sharing. Compliments of Cee. 🙂
In what do you find the simplest of joys?
Sitting on my favorite bench, at the beach, reading, drinking coffee, chillin’. Love it!
Jello or Pudding? And what is your favorite flavor?
Definitely pudding. When I was pregnant with my son, many moons ago, I was allowed a 7 day hospital stay. No there were no complications. That’s just the way it was, back in the stone age. You won’t see that happening today. Anyway, I was given my first taste of butterscotch pudding and to this day pudding is a major comfort food for me. Especially butterscotch.
Is there a language you would like to learn?
Simple. English!!!!
Do you prefer juice or fruit?
Fruit. Love it in all it’s forms – in all it’s glory. Fruit, glorious fruit! Nothing like it.

I’m just reaching over to pinch that strawberry with the chocolate on. Don’t mind, do you Gem? 🙂
I wish I could share, Jo. All that fruit was so yummy. It was a gift from our son, daughter-in-law, and grandkids for Christmas. It’s from a place called Incredible Edibles. Check it out!

Whoo-hoo! 🙂 I could use the stamina for my marathon tennis-watching sessions from Australia!
I am a fan of chocolate but never really like strawberries. Great story for the butterscotch pudding. thanks so much for sharing! Have a great week!
Thanks, Cee. Wish I could get all the blogs done that I’d like to but…
Thanks for the multitude of choices. 🙂
OK, another trans-Atlantic prober! The simplest of joys – beholding Nature in general eg the little birds in our garden, or watching an orange moon rise; humour; beholding the countryside; being within Somerset or Dorset; hearing and seeing little children – looks like I may have another photo session with two riotous young girls on Friday – tho whether I end up with any good shots is another matter altogether! 🙂 ).
Now jello is jelly, isn’t it – not a legend in my lifetime. But puddings >>> steak and kidney!!! … I can feel the vibrations … Also chocolate of course, with not thin custard. And we have crumbles, do you have them? Well, gooseberry or apple or rhubarb crumble, with custard.
And I have had to don clean underwear after reading your response to the language question – wonderful!!!!! 🙂 I’m not a linguist, I’m happy with English.
And, like you, definitely fruit, not juice -“Nothing like it” says it all!
I hope you’re good, Gem. I’m recovering. A xxx
Jello. LOL. It’s a gelatin dessert. In one form it can be eaten with a spoon. Make it a little more firm, and you can pick it up with your fingers. It can be made with fruit, marshmallows, and in a punch of different molds that make it fun for kids. It’s no pudding, though.
I like your idea of simplest joys. Ahhhhhh…
Clean underwear? That one had me changing my drawers as well! 😀
Hi Gemma! That photo at the beach looks SOOO relaxing…what a great way to spend time! 🙂
Ah, yes it is, Cathy. I can’t wait to get back there. I am pretending that summer’s just around the bend, even though they’re blabbing about 4-8 inches of snow for mañana! Blah!
Gemma, I can’t even imagine! In the meantime it’s good to dream!
Always 😉
Pudding. Mmmmm. I’ve never met a pudding I didn’t like. Make that love. Ice box cake! Even better….
I think I’ll have some tonight 😀
Pudding that is.
wish I was with you there now 😉
Well, there’s snow coming this way, so wait a while.
😉
Ha Ha… yes not as fun in the snow. We have Chinese New Year holiday coming soon and we are going away for 5 days to somewhere warm. Will be thinking of you 😉
We have been lucky and temps haven’t been too cold and damp this winter. Most days around 10c! Today is the first day I feel cold inside and the temps outside are under 0c with a high of 7c.
Well. We got our snow. And then we got more snow. And then some more. Ahhhhhh! It’s a veritable winter not-so-wonderful land!!!
😀
My parents in Southern Ontario have said the same thing. It sounded like everyday (or every other) in December they got snow! Making up for all those years with hardly any I think!
Enjoy your trip!
Can’t wait. We went to this resort before and it was the MOST relaxing place on earth. We only have 3 days at this resort and 2 in Manilla…. but it is better than nothing.
So true. I envy you! Have a last! Breathe in some clean fresh air and enjoy the sunshine.
We didn’t get to travel a lot last year since my husband was in Canada for 5 months, so this year we wanted to make up for it. We also thought this would be our last year, but we signed on for 1 more. Either way we want to see all we can when it is cheaper and a shorter flight than it is from North America. While there I may bottle and sell some of the fresh air back here on bad air days… probably could make a fortune 😉
1 more year! Good for you. What an adventure you’re on!
Enjoy it all!!!!

Oh, the days when you could stay in the hospital longer than you wanted to, so you could rest before taking your baby home! I spent 9 days with my first one (a slight fever) and eight days with my second one (no problems). Nobody gave me butterscotch pudding. It must be worth giving a try 🙂
Sorry for your lack of butterscotch. ;-). You should give it a try on your own. Thanks for the visit!
I haven’t had butterscotch pud in decades. I used to love it even better than Mars Bars.
That fresh fruit looks far more healthy than both. 🙂
I would actually have a hard time deciding between the pudding and the fruit. It would depend on my mood. Both yummy – as are Mars bars 😀
That fruit looked so good I wish I had gotten some when I shopped today. No way am I going back out there..snow’s coming, store’s are crazy!
My son works at Wegman’s (have any there?). He says when snow’s coming, people cram the place like sardines. It’s coming here too. I’ll take pix. You take pix. 😉
IF I go out! I planned on a pajama day…got mulling spices ready for my wine 😉
So take indoor shots. Selfies. Haha!
Lol
Oh and no Wegman’s here. There is a Food Lion in town but I went out of town to the Wal Mart…crazy for a Monday, still dropped a hundred bucks!
$100? Did you buy a loaf of bread? 😉
Yup and milk too and we don’t even like milk.
LOL. But it’s necessary during a snow storm. Huh?
Everybody else was getting some. I couldn’t resist. Must be what they mean by mob mentality.
😉
Mmmm… all the things I enjoy as well Gemma and we don’t have a beach here (although I can be one when I want to), so I enjoy my times by the pool. That fruit looks delicious! Bet the monkeys would love that as well! 😀
Great shots hon. 😀 *hugs*
As much as I love the beach, a pool would be nice. 😀

You look very chillin’ there Gemma …oh bring on the sun I say …
The sun can’t come soon enough! We are suppose to get blasted with snow today. We shall see and this too shall pass. 🙂

yum, I too like butterscotch 🙂
😉
That is a sweet, relaxing world!
I love pudding, especially chocolate. I can’t say I’ve ever had butterscotch pudding. Maybe I should try it! Also, going the opposite way, I LOVE fruit. One of my favorite snacks. 🙂
Definitely give it a try. I think it’s kind of like martinis – an acquired taste, but once you get to liking it, you’ll get my drift.
Thanks for the visit. 😉
