Cee’s pretty much asked us to pick some random pics, so this is me, being random. A little all over the place, but I like to think of it as eclectic. 🙂
“There’s good random, and there’s bad random. There’s good silly and there’s bad silly, and you’ve gotta know the difference.”
~ Conan O’Brien
Pretty much true of everything, Conan.
I hope this is good random, for y’all. 😉

WELCOME TO MY WORLD
Cee and Chris collaborated to come up with this week’s questions. So here it goes…
1. What is your most favorite smell?
Well, pretty much outdoors – and roses. (That narrows it down, huh?)
2. How do you write: computer, longhand, other?
A lot of computer and handwriting for journaling.
3. Your favorite blog post that you have written?
I really like them all (she said, modestly) but this is one of my favorites:

4. What’s your favorites book from childhood?
My parents didn’t speak English when they came to America, so they didn’t read to me. The only reading material I remember being in our house was Il Progresso, the Italian newspaper they were able to procure in our Italian neighborhood. So, for this, I have no answer.
And for the bonus question…
What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to this week coming up?
Actually, I’m very grateful that I’ve been able to make some time for myself so that I could get back into posting on my blog. I missed it. And this week I’m looking forward to getting our taxes DONE AND OVER WITH!!!
And speaking of over, get on over to Cee’s  and share your world. While you’re at it, stop by and see Chris!
“I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat.” ~ Edgar Allen Poe
With stealth and indifference, she creeps, ever so quietly, ever so mysteriously into the – ah – curtains?

Raise your hand if you have one of these. Now I’m not poking fun at this. I’m a big fan of flamingos. But you have to admit, this is taking pink, and flamingo to a whole new level.
This is all the pink I plan to post. ‘Nough said.
Click on the Brussel sprouts (ok just a little more pink) to get to Ailsa’s Pink Challenge and thanks for stopping by.
Reflecting…
And last, but not least, and my favorite…
Reflecting on a good day.

So glad you stopped by…
Apparently several family members have different ideas about how and where to relax.
Phoenix, our feline, prefers my jacket and the couch.
Rocky, our shepherd, thinks my yoga mat is the way to go.
Jeff swears we will retire to South Carolina and Fripp Island is the place that convinced him of this. Soooooo relaxing.
And, after a week’s stay in the hospital with double pneumonia, the flu, and congestive heart failure, my mom has found her niche in our home. This is her new place to relax. Thankfully, she is doing a little better every day. This is momma in her sanctuary.
Now I need a place for me to relax!
