“I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat.” ~ Edgar Allen Poe
With stealth and indifference, she creeps, ever so quietly, ever so mysteriously into the – ah – curtains?

Love the quote you chose and I can certainly see why you did. Phoenix is an inspiration!
She’s a trip. Truly indifferent. In a mysterious sort of way. 😉
Inspiration indeed!
I wish I could write like that as well Gemma. Looks like she is having lots of fun! Lovely post and photo’s hon. 😀 *hugs*
As th Beach Boys said, ” Wouldn’t it be nice…”
Thank, Sonel. ❤️
good photos and words, describing the cat state of mind –
greetings by
our cat Emily
Phoenix replies in kind. 😉
Gah! See what I mean?? She is just like those sneaky cats-under-cars in my neighborhood. They’re mysterious outside. Phoenix is mysterious inside. I’m afraid of ALL of them, everywhere.
Love and licks,
Cupcake
She would run and hide from you, Cupcake, but Rocky’s another story!
Love and hugs. ❤️xxx ❤️
Hey! Great new photo of you! > > > > > > > >
Ha ha! Thanks, kiddo. 😉 I’m horrible with the selfies. When I get a halfway decent one, I figure I’ll use it.
oh yeah, black cats creeping around, perfect for mysterious 🙂
🙂
nothing more mysterious than a cat
She walks in beauty like the might…
😉
Crap! That’s NIGHT! 🙂
Yes, if only we can be as “purrific” and irresistibly mesmerizing as a cat. It doesn’t hurt to follow its steps. Have a wonderful week ahead. All the best to your family.
Thank you and much luck with your move.
Great quotes by Edward Allen Poe Gem …
Stunning photography as well Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks for visiting, Jake. 🙂
I like these pictures, Gem. My favourite is the top one, because you’ve cropped in closer ie excluded extraneous detail, and the cat is more clearly seen – but entering mist at its front end and with its last leg just leaving mist at its back end. And its fur is standing up a little, heightening the uncertainty and surreality. And those three ?candles on the left add a touch of unrealness (is that a word???) too. And although its a colour photo, the very muted nature of the colours add to it too. Adrian 🙂
Thank you, Adrian. Now credit where credit is due. My son took the pix. I did some cropping and editing. He’s good without trying. Imagine if he did?
🙂
I just noticed that I chose the same quote as you did (great minds….etc.?). I like your take on the subject.
Thanks, Allan. I’m off to check your blog. And yes, great minds… 😉
What? What cat? All I see are curtains. Lol!
Ha ha! Stealthy, huh?
😉
And a black cat at that…very mysterious!
And precious. Thank you, Joe. 🙂
No doubt!
