WELCOME TO MY WORLD
Cee and Chris collaborated to come up with this week’s questions. So here it goes…
1. What is your most favorite smell?
Well, pretty much outdoors – and roses. (That narrows it down, huh?)
2. How do you write: computer, longhand, other?
A lot of computer and handwriting for journaling.
3. Your favorite blog post that you have written?
I really like them all (she said, modestly) but this is one of my favorites:

4. What’s your favorites book from childhood?
My parents didn’t speak English when they came to America, so they didn’t read to me. The only reading material I remember being in our house was Il Progresso, the Italian newspaper they were able to procure in our Italian neighborhood. So, for this, I have no answer.
And for the bonus question…
What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to this week coming up?
Actually, I’m very grateful that I’ve been able to make some time for myself so that I could get back into posting on my blog. I missed it. And this week I’m looking forward to getting our taxes DONE AND OVER WITH!!!
And speaking of over, get on over to Cee’s and share your world. While you’re at it, stop by and see Chris!
Well done on getting your taxes done, Gemma. Always a great feeling of achievement. 🙂 I’m with you on the lovely smell of roses.
😉
I’m off to read your post now. Thanks so much for playing and sharing with us. I’m thrilled that you are getting some time back for yourself. 🙂
I’m having a blast! Thanks for hosting. 😉
You are tooooooo cute I am the luckiest man alive thanks Missy
❤️❤️❤️
Thanks, bun.
❤️❤️❤️
Love the cartoon – wonderful stuff! Favourite smell – difficult – freshly baked bread maybe.
Like you, lots of computer and longhand, and some block capitals too, because my longhand is so terrible! I’m completely at a loss to name a favourite blog post, there have been so many.
And childhood is so far away – but the book is maybe The Wind In The Willows, by Kenneth Graham.
Both last week and this week, I have been far more energetic than of late, and busier than usual, mainly with photography related things, but also with an organisation for retired people, which seems to offer much of interest. >>> and its certainly good to see you back posting once more! A
I am have about your energy level. That’s so good to hear. Busier with fun stuff is a byproduct of more energy. Cool!
I am so glad to be back in the swing of things, A. And yes, the cartoon is such fun! 🙂 and so me.
I don’t still have that amazing shot from Masterpiece as my background, Gem, but looking at it again just now, I’m tempted to reinstate it. 🙂
True confessions time! It got replaced by Snoopy and Woodstock toasting marshmallows round a campfire when it was too chilly here to look at the ocean.
I’m just honored to have held the spot for a while, Jo. Thanks.
Love the cartoon Gemma. Adorable! 😀 Roses do have the best smell ever, don’t they? I am glad you can have fun blogging again and good luck with the taxes. That’s a nasty bunch for sure. 😀
♥ Big Hugs ♥
Thank you, Sonel. It will be OVER WITH this evening by the time I rest my head on my pillow. Now will I get some sleep. That’s another story.
😉
I love the smell of roses too.
Sweet cartoon! Smell-wise, I’d have to go with cinnamon buns and/or ANYTHING with cinnamon on it, in it, under it, over it, or around it. Dunkin Donuts Brown Sugar Cinnamon Coffee? Yes, please.
No surprise there. LOL
Coffee? Soon I hope. 😍
Coffee! Yay!
