Multiple trips to Cooper Hospital over the past few months, working on getting mom back on her feet has netted me a plethora of Squares, Triangles and Angles. In line with keeping a positive outlook, and in hopes of learning from this experience, ie: living in the moment, appreciation, gratitude, and realizing the value and importance of family, I give you a wall of hopes and prayers and dreams – Geometry Style!
Even hospital visits can add some beauty to an anxiety-filled day. See the beauty. It’s always there, somewhere. You just have to look for it.

I love those pictures. The bright side is always there when you look for it and let yourself see it. For some reason, I feel like I can magically make those tile mosaics right now.
I know. It looks like, “ok. I can do this. ” Maybe we can. 🙂
ahem— of course you can do this!
if you don’t have the ceramics, grout, etc, then why not attempt this with paint — on a smaller scale? z
I love how you chimed in and made it a challenge. My plate is full right now, but I’ll put it on my list of things I want to try before, well, before too long. 😉 And I AM coming to you for pointers, z.❤️
Yes. I should start breaking dishes or flowerpots or something immediately….
Not a bad thought. Then, yay, new dishes. Road trip!!!
It is beautiful Gemma. What a wonderful wall to have there.
Thanks, Jo. I have about 12 other shots. All very pretty and inspirational. Maybe I’ll put them all out there eventually. Perfect wall hangings for such a dreary environment.
They sure are Gemma. Looking forward to seeing them one day.
Those are cool walls and mosaics. I bet it was fun (if hospitals can be fun) to see them, admire them and photograph them. Thanks so much for sharing these and playing along in the challenge.
They were a bright spot in an otherwise crappy week. 🙂
I can honestly say Geometry has never been so meaningful Gemma x
Oh goodness, poppy. Thank you. That brought joy to my day. Hallelujah ! You’ve fulfilled your good deed for today. xxx❤️
Why can’t all hospitals look so pretty and cheerful? Love these mosaics. Best wishes and hugs to your mom. xx
Thanks, Sylvia. It really was a cheerful way to enter that dismal place. So sad walking the halls. So that made me smile on the way in and out. Have a great week, ad.
These are actually beautiful pieces of art.
Thanks! Not that I’m taking credit for them, hehe. They really are fabulous!
I love them – especially as it is not something that you see everyday. I love things that have been hand-crafted.
Hand crafted. Yes! Love that! 🙂
Beautiful art, my friend, and a positive attitude is even more beautiful – very good to see you back here! A xxx
Very good to be here, A.

our thoughts and prayers have been with you and your mom.. loved the “happy” walls
I appreciate that. I’ll let her know. Thank you to both of you. 🙂
Beautiful mosaics, Gem 🙂
So good to have your unique view on life back again.
Awwww. So sweet, as always. Thanks, Jo. That was a nice thing to say (it is nice, right?) LOL

I love the colors!
They were joyful to look at in a place where sometimes things are not to joyful.
Thanks, first grader. 😀
Broken things live again — in joy!
If you don’t already know them, look for Guell Park in Barcelona, by architect Gaudi — the serpentine benches of mosaics. You will LOVE them.
(Hope your mother improves quickly.)
That place has a multitude of mosaics!!! Very cool. Thanks. And thanks, too, re mom. She’s doing as well as she can.
Art and inspiring messages does uplifts our spirits when in a hospital. Helps us forget for a moment.
Yes. A moment. 🙂
