OK. I’ve missed a few but I’m not going to go back and make them up. 😉

If you were the architect of one existing building, which building would you select?
Just off the top of my head, I’d say having a part in the construction of Notre Dame Cathedral. I’ve never been there, but photos look absolutely breathtaking. I wouldn’t mind taking credit for that!
What is one of your favorite quotes?
Every day I come across a new phrase, or quote, or bible verse that makes me feel grateful and blessed. Some of these I find myself, some I get in emails from friends and family, some I come across while reading other blogs. So I can’t really say I have a favorite. I can say that so far TODAY, this one’s my favorite.
What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?
I’m partial to blacks, browns, dark greens, beiges – earthy colors, but I’ve been branching out. Coral is a color I’ve experimented with lately. So out-of-the-box for me, but I’m eating up the compliments when I wear it. 😉
What is something you learned in the last week?
How much my family means to me.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week? Visiting grand kids. (see pic above)
Week to come? A clean slate. (those of you that know me will understand)

l’ve so missed you. Wonderful answers and your quote of the day with your photo is absolutely wonderful and joyful!! Thanks for sharing.
I had fun with it. Thanks. And thank Chris. I am pushing that joy on myself big time!
I agree. Notre Dame is breathtaking and very awe-inspiring.
Maybe, one day…
🙂
So glad my beautiful wife and best friend is back to blogging. 😁😁😁😁😁
I love you Jeff. ❤️
Well you’ve gotta aim high, Gemma. Notre Dame it is. 🙂 I’m sure you look wonderful in coral.I also love the colour. Love your inspiring quote. xx
Thanks, Sylvia. Grand kids make me smile. 🙂
OK, questions! I’m not really big on buildings, but Wells Cathedral in Somerset (even tho I’m not into that religion at all) … or maybe Stonehenge, that’s more like it!
Quote. From towards the end of the Rocky Horror Picture Show – “Don’t dream it – be it.” – something to live by.
Colours? Like you, earthy colours I suppose, especially when out in the country – and if conditions are mucky, something that doesn’t show the muck ….. combined with Wellington boots, of course! Dull colours for photographing in town too. A low profile is everything!
Learned this week? – that jellied eels from our supermarket are not as tasty as those smoked eels I’ve eaten on the Levels.
Grateful for last week? Deer and foxes in our garden. Week to come? That same piece of non-dirty, flat rock. Byeeee! 😉
Non dirty flat rock! I love it!!! And thanks. 😉
I had eel once, long ago. Pretty good, if you ask me. But then again I was working at a bar (pub?) at the time and alcohol can change things. LOL
Love the poster! The picture is perfect and the quote is so much more elegantly stated than “Fake it till you make it.” But, yeah. That works. My favorite color to wear? – STRIPES! 🙂
STRIPES! I knew that. 🙂
Thanks, Gen. I’m on a new kick, but I’m sure you’re seeing the pattern.
I go for blues but have been wearing yellows lately in the sunshine.. like the quote..I would go for ‘it is hard to pretend, genuine is constant…by me!..nice to see you…
I like it! Can I use it on a photo sometime? (Don’t feel you have to say yes, and of course I’d credit you.) Thanks, Gerry.
be my guest Gemma,,, glad you liked it enough to even think of it welcome 😉
Thanks, Gerry! Stick around. I’ll be getting a little creative real soon. 😉
so nice to see hubby commenting on your blog, and Jeff we agree, glad she’s back, hugs from Ecuador
He’s the absolute BEST! I’ll let him know. Hugs back at you.
What a lovely man you have! 🙂
I know, but thank you. He is my rock. (How cliché, but how true. 🙂
I really enjoy reading you when you share your world! It’s like knowing someone I don’t know.
Thanks, Trish. I just put it all out there. LOL
Good to hear all those positive vibes Gemma x
Have a smashing week – I have a feeling there’s a certain man in your life who will make sure of that 😉
I will, poppy. And yes he is the best!
You do the same. What’s the equivalent if smashing? FABULOUS!
What a great ‘share’ Gemma.
Thanks, Jo. Sitting in the dark, after multiple lightening strikes, one of which apparently met its mark, trying to keep entertained. 😀 good hearing from you.
Love it all but the quote got me in my Forever Summer and life is better at the beach groove. A toast to lots of smiles and timeless joy! Happy day to you & family!
With JoY being my favorite word, I love that quote!
It’s a necessity!
😉
