CEE’S ODD BALL CHALLEGE – WEEK 20

There’s this tissue box on my wine rack that has been there since Christmas.  Yes.  You heard me right.  Christmas!   I guess no one remembers it’s there because I’ve replaced all the other tissue boxes a dozen times since then – we have some runny noses around here.

This morning I was looking for a little inspiration.  Something that would tell me all’s right with my world.  There is so much craziness going on in the news, in my life, in general – that, being the odd ball person that I am, I thought this might be a lucky sign.

Do you see it?

I know these are not prize winning photos, but they are my inspiration for today.

Do you feel it?  I do.

A rainbow followed me into the house today.  Now THAT’S a stroke of luck!

  1. Who needs the pot of gold when they’ve got the rainbow, Gem? You are my shining example of all that’s right with the world. Yes, the craziness is a killer! But in here I can always feel safe and welcome.
I LOVE that opening photo! Thank you for gladdening my world. 🙂

  2. Yes, wonderful, just the thing >>> you deserve it, my friend. And I also like the photo you’ve got at the top of the page very much – keep calm and drink wine, then the candle is serenity and hope – and the V for victory is very timely, and also very USA in my mind, tho its here too, as witness Winston Churchill in the war. You stick with that rainbow! A

  6. Not sure what I love more- the fact that there is someone else out there that would forget about a Christmas tissue box in their house or the rainbow.

  7. A Christmas symbol and a rainbow, double luck indeed. My happiest of memories somehow goes back to Summers and Christmases. When things are grey, finding symbols that brings us to great moments does bring more than luck, it brings us back to our sense of joy. Happy weekend.

  9. Stunning colours Gemma and yes, sometimes we just need that little bit of inspiration to keep us going. I just love your header photo. Absolutely stunning! Let’s keep calm and drink wine. Not too early I hope. hahahahah!
