Last week I posted about an odd pair of planter jeans that I spotted at a craft fair in town. This week I thought I’d share another unique craft I came across while walking the main street in Collingswood. A little odd. A little different. A little out the the ordinary. I’m thinking this takes a whole lotta patience and a heck of a whole lotta wire!

WIRE WALL SCALERS – Is that what they’re called? And a couple of wire pups.

A VERY WIRY WOMAN – LEAN AND SINEWY
AND BESIDE THIS LONG LANKY LASS..

MAN (WOMAN?) WITH PARACHUTE
I wonder if that shute opens. Now that would be an oddity in itself.

GAH! The parachute guys are so awesome! The wire lady could be a cookbook holder. Just stand her next to the kitchen counter and boom – start cooking from the recipe she’s holding. I love these oddballs.
Thanks, G. If she hung out in my kitchen she’d not only be holding the cook book, she’d be COOKIN’ 😉
Now THAT would be a useful sculpture! She could earn her keep.
Fun! Not sure I can find anything like that around here 😉 Helen
Haha! I don’t think I’ll ever find it again! Thanks,Helen.
You succeed once again in making me smile. Thanks 🙂
Thank YOU! 🙂
Yep, a lot of wire.
Just love it!!
Thanks! And thanks for the visit. 🙂
Goodness me, Gemma, you do have some really oddball stuff in your area. The wiry, lanky lass is my favourite, but I still don’t think I’d give her house-room. 🙂
I’m kinda partial to her hat. 😉
I almost mentioned how elegant it is. 🙂
very unusual and creative 🙂
🙂
They must have a lot of patience to create these. I think my daughter would love the mountain climbing piece 🙂
Sadly, I never checked the prices. Or maybe I’m better off. 😉
‘Spiderman! Spiderman…’ I have no idea how the rest of that song goes, Gem, or quite why I’m singing it? I just kind of like them charging up that wall 🙂 Odd what you can find out there- but then, there wouldn’t be an oddball challenge otherwise.
Have a happy weekend, Gem 🙂
Oh there’re out there, Jo. They find me!
You as well. Happy walking. 😉
What a great collection!
janet
Many thanks! 😉
