A Sunday spent window shopping with a friend, I pass by this quaint little store and spot the most amazing bench. Why amazing? Well, it’s wood and metal and very Americana. My husband has a collection of wooden, metal, and glass American flags, and I knew he would love this. So I took a photo, smiling to myself and being all proud of my find. Meanwhile, WHY DIDNT I ASK IF IT WAS FOR SALE?!?!?!?!

Did you at least sit on it to try it out for size? It’s really pretty. Is it red, white, and blue? I’m thinking not. What color is it besides black and white?
The wood is brown. LOL And the flag is a very warn navy blue. The metal is silver with a black patina. And no, of course not! Why would I sit in it? That would have been the smart thing to do! Then, THEN I might have thought to ask if it was for sale!
It is pretty though. 😉
It is a neat little bench. Did you ask Hubby what he thought about it?
Yup. He liked it a lot. Said perfect for the front yard under the tree. DUH! Now I need to go back there and shop some more! Oh, the humanity!
😀
Show us a photo when you have the new bench situated under your tree. 🙂
Yup yup 😀
Certainly looks unique.
Lovely detail, Gemma. You can always go back and ask. 🙂
First chance I get, ad. 🙂
Such a clever bench design for us here in the US. Fabulous shots of it too. 🙂
Thanks, Cee. Now I have to see if I can get it home. 😉
That is fantastic! I wonder if it was for sale???? Surely not!! That is too cool. And it looks great in B&W. 🙂
Thanks, Angelia. I’m going to go back there and find out. 😉
