A web of wires
Dangling, tangling and,
Far away in the distance,
I see the puffiness of the clouds,
The wonder of the sky,
The unreachable, unbelievable,
The unfathomable number of miles and miles.
Somewhere in the distance.

Very cool and interesting photo!!!
Thanks, Roberta. I think. 😉
I really like this photo and poem. Did you write the poem too?
Yes. I don’t know if it’s a poem because I know next to nothing about writing poetry but it was what I was thinking. Thanks, Sue. I appreciate your appreciation. 😉
Well, I just dubbed it an official poem. 🙂
Nice poetry!
Thanks. I was hoping it was poetry. 😀
Lol
Perfect picture and words to remind us to look past what’s easy to see to what matters beyond it. It’s what we need now vs what we need forever. Cool. Deep.
Deep. Oh yeah. 🙂 My next reading is at EspressIt along with chocolate avocado muffins.
Thanks, G ❤️
Muffins and tea…. Better than deep!
love it !
Thanks!
Wires wires wires! I live in an “established” neighborhood, and that means wires. And beautiful trees (that they CUT and alter to make way for those wires) Wires trump trees. grrrr.
I hear you, SC. This is across from our house at the shore. There are tons and TONS of amazing sunsets when you gaze out the front door. But the wires get in the way. For a ‘wireless’ shot I need to walk around the block to the golf course. More open area. But I get you. Grrr…
Love the moody pic – is this chez toi? And Hendrix too – my longtime favourite is All Along The Watchtower. Hope you’re having a good weekend! A xxx
Oui, mon ami. Hehe Outside the front door at the shore house. Weekend going well, merci. ATP xxx
Such a great dramatic photo for this week’s challenge. Thanks Gemma.
YW, Cee. Heading to a nursery today. Hoping for some good flower photo. Mums are a-poppin’!
Damn Gemma, I think you just wrote a poem. And a pretty darn good one I might add. 😀
Haha! Yeah. Thanks. But I won’t quit my day job. 🙂
(Seriously. Thank you.)
So much depth and distance, Gem! I love you in ‘dreaming mode’. 🙂
❤️ Thanks, Jo. ❤️
You do have your way with words! Such a beautiful poetry and a perfect pairing with the photo.
Thanks, Ese. I appreciate the compliment. 🙂
