“Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns.” ~ George Eliot

Autumn in town…

Autumn at the Jersey shore… πŸ˜‰

Any way you cut it, it’s a magical, mystical, marvelous time of year.

  1. Oh no!!! >>> I’ve just posted a comment on your blog and my good old net connection seems to have blown it totally away – confusticate!

Anyway, what I said, and will now say again is … I like your photos! That’s a cardinal in the top one, isn’t it? Beautiful! And in the lower one, trying cropping close around all those fences (but don’t exclude any parts of them), and then change it to black and white and boost the contrast a bit (make it more black and white) >>> and if it all goes wrong >>> blame me, I know you’ll enjoy that … And I hope you’re fine. • both are important parts of my life.. some days i tweak my attention to a good book and barely move for the rest of the day.. guilt free – i’m worth it, and if the book is well written, it deserves to be appreciated!

        i miss public libraries, btw….

did you have trick or treaters:

      • i laughed… yes, i would be in trouble as well.. i have zero will power when it comes to tempting sweets, and i haven’t had a baby ruth in years.. i would be sneaking little candy bars every few hours until they were all gone!

  2. I love your three m words – just flows with your style amiga
“magical, mystical, marvelous time of year…” and I agree – and was just noting the colors when I let the dogs out just now… so this was right in my thinking – also – oh wow – you caught a cardinal – yes!!! and the lines of the branches have an artsy feel – cheers….

  3. Oh it’s Autumn for sure all those pretty leaves blowing about πŸ™‚
That NJ shore line looks pristine, how lovely to walk along that beach Gemma .
