  1. OK, let’s think about this one – and if you haven’t done all of these question sets, well that’s life! So easy ones first – colour = red, always has been. Simplest of joys? (And I understand your answer here all too well) >>> Listening to the wind; being with little children, because they always make me smile and laugh; being with and stroking a friendly cat. And I’m right with you – the studio; if I had a reading nook I’d only doze off in it!

The quote – from former society photographer Cecil Beaton: “Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary.”. WOW! In a nutshell, I suppose – “Come out from amongst all those safe, concealing greys, and soar, sear and blossom with colours that dazzle!”.

Things to be grateful for are a little sparse at present as we struggle to get our home repaired – but table tennis yesterday was a lot of fun! A

      • Well when conversing with a Senior Repairer, I did mention your name and he did go rather pale … before going home for … clean underwear … >>> and I love that quote too, for me it sums up a lot in this world. And I like playing along, it makes me think about things that would nor otherwise be in my mind – and tells you more what I’m like – which is a Brit condemnation as in “What are you like!!!???” … we are, after all, a shy and cultured people … xxx

  2. Still zentangling! 🙂 I was just admiring the CND mug when I realised that the mat it’s sitting on- I have a set of 4 of them in the Algarve! My candle light sits on one of them on a little glass topped table.
Hope you have a good weekend, Gem 🙂

  3. I also like the matt the coffee mug is on – and actually – your shot of that is so cool – the up closeness with the bubbles of the coffee and the feel of the matt – – the message on the mug is enhanced by the pattern – which had me looking a few times – just a great shot – and enjoyed your “share your world” 🙂 – and with the them of this post it is only fitting to sign off with “peace” ha!

  4. loving the Peace theme. I heartily agree. If you make a pilgrimage to Bethlehem (the Christmas city) over the holidays, we could meet for lunch, too! You and Genevieve …. road trip! Think about it!! 🙂

  5. Love your ‘Be Happy’ owl Gemma! Adorable! That is one amazing shot as well. One of my favourite colors as well. 😀

Love the mug and shot too and I would love to have a studio as well. Let’s dream big hon! 😆

Great doodle! You are so creative! Wish I could make myself look as awesome as you do as a cartoon. Love it! 😀 ♥

    • Sooooo many kind words, Sonel. Thank you! And if you use facebook you can create a character on Bitstrips through them. It’s fun and just about the ONLY THING I use Facebook for. 😉
      Studio… Dreaming … ☺️

      • You’re very welcome hon and yes, I do use Facebook and I do know Bitstrips but I will never look as great as you do. 😀

Yeah, let’s keep on dreaming. 😆

      • I should have known, with all your talents that you would already be familiar. I am always a day late, a dollar short, and always asking people where they got this and that. ❤️

      • Awww Gemma, you’re way too kind hon. No talent this side. I am just a Googlist and it was hubby that started the Bitstrips thingy. When it comes to talent and creativity, I’m wayyyyy behind you hon. 😀 ♥
