Thanks for the visit.
I think I could live in a little place just like this! Great quote!
That’s funny! I was thinking the same thing!
Thanks for the visit, Kathryn. 🙂
Anytime Gemma! Just catching up on some December posts!
Nice photo—it is a very inviting scene.
Nice place to set up a little studio. If only…
Thanks, Allan.
Thomas Paine is very smart. Thinking is good. Great shack in shadow.
Yeah. Everybody should do it. It appears these days a lot of people are not.
Thanks, G.
I have not seen the name thomas paine in a longgggg time – so that was nice – and the fit with the real log cabin – double nice G!
Kind of what I was thinking. Smart guy. Thanks, Yvette.
yea – and a studio there would be cool for you (I read the other comment) lol
I admire your ability to read, write, post, etc. I am barely keeping my head above water. (Not being able to swim doesn’t help!)
Studios for everyone!!!
haha – and well I actually lost some precious time by watching breaking bad over the holiday break – and I still have a post I want to do about this show I like – and a video for my friend V – so I am treading water with a few kicks too – but thanks for the compliment. And I think you do a fine job with yours too (from what i can see) and what really helped me was I think later spring…
l realized that it was not necessary to post daily – (I know that sounds like duh… but I was in that trap of a daily this and that) – and then I also realized I could visit a blogger friend occasionally – and look at backs posts and well, it depends on the kinda blogger – cos as you know some are writers – others not so much –
but I guess I found a way that it works for me in between doing other stuff – and then sometimes I just log out for days and refresh that way too. lol
but have a good night G
I’ve had to skip a few myself. I don’t like doing that but sometimes it’s a necessity – I’ve also come to realize. 😍
I know – good day to ya G
💞✌
A delightful shady spot, Gemma. Love the quote too. Your new WPC badge rocks.
Thanks, ad. Feel free to use – or not. I wanted to do something a little different from last year.
I can’t get into that little shack otherwise I would set up shop. 😉
Thanks so much, and it’s good advertising for you. 😀 What would you sell from your shop?
I’m not really proficient enough at anything to consider selling but I’m all about improving every day. 😉
Wow – well done, Gemma! This really captures my imagination! 😀
Thanks so much, Cathy. Happy New Year. 😊
Love the quote! So true!
Thomas Paine. What a guy! 😉
That’s one lovely little log cabin Gemma . Yes .. I think there would be a queue if it went up for rent 😉 would have to shift that pile of wood though to make space for a bench and cushions mind .
A bench! Fabulous idea!
Thanks, poppy.
Oh so true, the quote, Gem, especially in light of the events in Paris. What a world!
I’ll get Lisa to make the cushions for us for that bench and I’ll be right over 🙂 Love the shot! Wishing you a peaceful week. 🙂
You too, Jo. We’ll do tea and something decadent and oh so sweet. 😍
Very nice – love the quote too. So very true. Seeing it in our day, unfortunately.
It’s much to sad and frightening.
Such a pleasant and peaceful looking shot! That place on a lake….oh how happy I could be!
Missed you, Tree. No lake, unfortunately. But still … 😉
OK…no lake….its ok, I would still like the chance to be happy in a little cabin like this!!
Good to see you 🙂
Love your entry for the challenge this week Gemma.
Thank you, Colline.
Great entry for this week theme Gem
Thanks, Jake.
Well I’m glad to see you are keeping your head above water – lovely little place – if only it were on the Somerset Levels – but do you think it floats?????? xxx
Probably not. 😉 xxx
great quote and absolutely love the shadows and the little cabin
Thank you very much. I’d love to have that as a retreat. With books, no magazines, and art supplies no tons and tons of paper. And a heater. Man is it cold out! 😉
