SHARE YOUR WORLD 2015 – WEEK 3

Back with a Share Your World, hosted by Cee.  Read on then join in. 🙂

Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest?

Warren Buffett.  A have a few questions for him.  And a request.  😉   Seriously, I think he’d be a very interesting person to have sitting across the dinner table.  If he’s not available, or if they both want to come, I’d also invite the Dalai Lama

When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?

I crank up the radio and sing in the car, when I think (hope) no one is looking.  I did this yesterday to Janis Joplin/Mercedes Benz.  I’ll bet I was a sight.  (like I care) 😉

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?

I would like to be wildly and intensely creative.  I know I try my hand at a lot of things: musical instruments, photography, writing, crocheting, jewelry making, blogging, drawing, tangling – to name a few (and to display a few),

but I wish I had more of a natural knack for imagining.  My creative synapses are not firing at full capacity.  If there were a drug for this – other than LSD – I’d consider it.  I’m OK. But, of late, I’ve seen some amazing art.  Dang!

What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?

The news.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Last week, I realized that I’m stronger than I thought.   I’m grateful for that.

The week to come – more strength.

Click on the icon and win a prize!  Nah!  But you will see some fun stuff at Cee’s.  Go ahead.  You know you want to. 😉

  1. Great sharing! I totally agree that the news gets less and less funny every day. I totally disagree about creativity. Your synapses are nonstop cracking and banging. Face it – you’re a mad, wicked artist.

  2. Your tangling creations are brilliant Gemma , I know I’ve said before 😉
Love the feathery leaf one .
Keep strong and carrying on singing !

  3. Good Morning Gemma! Oh my.. I have a bit of a crush on Warren Buffett. I KNOW!!!! I love to hear him talk and I like what he has to say. I sing in the car too and did some singing on the way home yesterday coming home from Florida-da-dee. Thank the heavens CH doesn’t mind listening to me. I prefer to sing when I drive, not so much riding shotgun. Yesterday was Pharrell’s “Happy”.. I know the song drives some people out of their minds but I love it cause it makes me HAPPY! It’s my ringtone but noBODY ever calls me, they all want to text! I would die happy if I could master photoshop! There are quite a few things I am uncomfortable joking about. I love your creativity and I think you ARE a natural!

    • Well this was certainly a pick me up, Pix. Thanks! It’s so dreary here that all this ‘happy’ helped. 😉 Photoshop? Yeah. Right? I wouldn’t know where to begin but I’d love to know a bunch of that myself. Thanks for the kindest of words. Much appreciated. Sing on🎶🎶🎶

  4. OK, Gemma, let’s try this – but the first one is very difficult! Dinner guest, of living people, can’t think; of dead ones, Queen Elizabeth I maybe (but certainly not QEII!!!!!) I sing to myself driving my car on early morning photo trips to keep awake – early mornings seem to be getting harder and harder these days!

New ability – easy! – to be able to play a musical instrument, saxophone maybe, or electric violin. Too serious for joking? >>> I’m with you – the news.

Last week: having a minor operation that seems to have gone ok; next week, hoping that trend continues! I wish you great and continuing strength, my friend! A xxx

    • Just the opposite with me. I’m perky in the morning and tend to nod out early evening if i don’t have anything entertaining me. Sometimes even in the middle of entertainment. LOL
I’m glad things went well too. 🙂 xxx

  5. Speaking of news, I hope you’ve got yourselves wrapped up snuggly and warm, with plenty of food in for this cold snap that’s coming! Sounds dire 😦 Take care, Gem. On the bright side, lots more opportunity for tangling 🙂

  6. I like the drawings very much and I enlarged them, I like your pen as well. (this is my every day pen) I also enjoy learning about you when you answer Cee’s questions. I am far too shy to do so!

Feel free to express your (kind) thoughts.
