CEE’S ODD BALL CHALLENGE 2015 – WEEK 10

For 25 years I worked in an office. (Some of you might know this so hang in a minute…)  After a healthy dose of downsizing, I decided I’d go to college (natural progression, right?) After graduating, I went into teaching (a life long dream, and I’m getting to my point, I swear!)

I taught Developmental Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade.  So after retiring (here it comes) I knew I couldn’t take on a part time gig without having the words, “FUN” and “KIDS” and “PLAY” involved.  So now I ‘sit’ a little genius, and on no school day, his bro.

Sometimes, girls (and their charges) just wanna have fu-un. 😉

We made Lego names for an Instagram Challenge I entered.   More fun.

And, although this is a moving Odd Ball, still, fun, Fun, FUN!

  1. What great fun photos and video. I would have loved to have been there with you. Have you ever eaten the Pirate Booty snacks…..they are great. I haven’t had them for quite a while though. Thanks Gemma.

  2. Kids are SO much fun. This week a little guy in my class was ‘spying’ on his older sister and friends at recess. They got quiet annoyed and told me when the little brother and his classmates wouldn’t stop buggin’ them. When I spoke to the little guy his answer was “But I love my sister very much!”
How can you scold him after that?
Good answer right? … he is gonna be a heart breaker!

    • My poor, dear, sweet, mother watched the video while propping herself up in her bed at the nursing home. She watched it 6 times and then stated very seriously, ” I would have fallen after the first spin, if not before.” She loves his energy. I tire just watching him. And if you want to watch him for a day, SURE! I’ll go for coffee and muffins! 😉

  3. Love, love, love, love. Such a fun age. Those are photos you should print out and look at on days when you are feeling sad. They sure made my day brighter! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Gemma – this is so fun – and the video really always adds more – so thanks for including those with some of your posts – 🙂

and who fun the dress ups are – oh and one idea for one of your days – and if you ever two boxes in a good size – maybe make some dice – and have them spin and see what numbers come up – and can some mental math – hmmmm

anyhow, looks like you are such gift to these boys –

Feel free to express your (kind) thoughts.
