TIME OUT FOR ART – MARCH 26 2015

Some of you may have noticed, I’ve taken up Tangling.  Zentangle is a fabulous, relaxing, confidence building pass time.  I was just reading a post by my amiga, Lisa, at Zeebra Design’s & Destinations.  And it’s true.  There’s always time for art.  If you have 10 minutes, you can draw or paint or start SOMETHING!  It’s calming.  It’s productive.  It’s FUN.

Here’s some of my art.  I never felt like I could really, REALLY draw, but I can.

WEEKLY IMAGE OF LIFE – CREATE

Island Traveler has challenged us with using our creativity for creating a post titled Create.
Phew!
I’m new at this beading business, but I’ll put it out there anyway.  Creativity is not my middle name, but I’m always making an attempt.

Here’s some fun jewelry I cranked out. When I’m ready, I’ll be opening shop on Etsy. I’m not ready yet ;-).

Stop by Island Traveler’s blog by clicking on the icon below and witness more creativity, not to mention Mr. B’s gift for story telling and fabulous photography.

WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE – CREATE

This was a dual effort CREATE my first graders and I put together to honor American soldiers.  The kids put a lot of thought into this poster, so I am going to super-size it.  Still, you may have to zoom in to get a good look, but it’s worth the effort.  They did a magnificent job cutting out all the flowers and CREATing the cards with their messages. I hope you enjoy looking at it half as much as we did putting it together.
