THURSDAY LINGERING LOOK AT WINDOWS – WEEK 7

Here’s a look into the wonderful world of confection through the window of a local candy store. This place beckons you off the street and into the world of scrumptious sweets and good things to eat.

Thanks to Dawn for hosting A Lingering Look. If you stopped by here, you will like stopping by there. She’s just a click away.

THURSDAY LINGERING LOOK AT WINDOWS – WEEK 6

My mom, as you might know if you’re following me, is 90 years old. She is blessed enough to be able to take care of herself but at least 4 or 5 days a week I will sit with her and play a game or two of cards. She loves 500 Rum and, no, I don’t let her win. Sometimes you bite the bear, and sometimes the bear bites you. Luck of the draw and all that.
This is the view I take in as I deal, and yes I always deal. Twisting medicine bottle caps and dealing are not her forte, but she still darns my socks and hems my jeans. 🙂 There are times she has to remind me that it’s my turn. The view is simple, but the cloud formations and the position of the sun are constantly changing and this tends to mesmerize me. Enjoy the view. It won’t last long.

Stop over at Dawn’s for a lingering look of her wonderful windows and other entries as well.
Thanks for visiting. I appreciate that you dropped by. 😉

THURSDAY LINGERING LOOK AT WINDOWS – WEEK 4

An old building. Boarded windows. Caution tape.  A story behind the boards. Who lived here? Were there children? A dog? Maybe two.

Jeff and I have driven by this place hundreds of times. It intrigues me.  Maybe some day I’ll be brave (crazy) enough to slip under the caution tape. But for now, I’ll have to get by on a lingering look.

Throw caution to the wind and stop by Dawn’s site, The Day After, for a peek through some very photogenic windows.
