I’m sitting here gazing out the window, waiting for the plumber. It’s 8:20. The Phillies are up and – surprise – winning, and the score is 2 – 0. But I can’t concentrate on the game and I’m starting to think Walt may not show. I suppose I should not have said it’s not an emergency. I guess I should not have given him the option that Thursday or Friday would be fine. I forgot to value my time. Duh! Now I’ve done a bunch of housework- no fun , when I could have been out shopping or riding my bike or doing something other than boring housework – and still have shut off valves that are stuck. I guess I learned a lesson. I guess tomorrow’s another day.
THERE’S STILL NO ONE AT THE DOOR. It’s 8:30. Should I give up the ghost?
These are some of my windows. I don’t get out much – thanks to Walt! Click here to visit Lingeringvisions and a look at or through more windows.
In a little antique shop in New Hope, PA, off the beaten path, I found two old church windows. They’re not in the church of course. They are windows in the window. 🙂
Pretty, no? The owner is in the process of trying to find out which church these windows came from, so I don’t have that info, but I think they look good in the window.

Cee is hosting a Color of Your Choice Challenge and my first thought was brown. Who’s going to do brown? Well, my friend, Dawn @ Lingering Visions did a fabulous job of covering brown, so I decided to go with Blue. But you should definitely check out Dawn’s blog because her wintery browns are gorgeous.
I thought these blues were very pretty. The aquarium, jellies, blue here, blue there, blue blue everywhere…
And then I saw this…
You tell me. Blue?
Do me a favor. Stop by Cee’s to see more colors – one per blog. 🙂 Just click on the cute little guy below.
As the sun sets and the battery-powered candles flicker and grow brighter, I sit and wait for the rumble of your car to ease up the drive. I’ve turned on the outside light. I try to check the clock, but it’s just a little too dark. No matter. The time just doesn’t matter. I wait. I’ll always wait.
Happy Valentine’s Day, hon.
