SUNDAY POST – SOLID

I found this on Fizztext’s blog where he had reblogged it from EuZicAsa’s blog and to make a long story short, I think this earns the tag of a SOLID show of unity and FUN!

On the 130th anniversary of the founding of Banco Sabadell we wanted to pay homage to our city by means of the campaign “Som Sabadell” (We are Sabadell) . This is the flashmob that we arranged as a final culmination with the participation of 100 people from the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, the Lieder, Amics de l’Òpera and Coral Belles Arts choirs.

    • Thanks, Jake. I couldn’t pass it up. I thought it was amazing. Hope you don’t mind me breaking the rules a little. Not my own work, sadly. But a great display of, yes, solid teamwork. 🙂

      • It`s okey, I know it`s not yours lol , but truly a great work i love it thanks for sharing 🙂

  1. Firstadnfabulous,
Thanks for reblogging. Don’t be sad, we’re a community of first and fabulous, that’s what makes blogging about…(like you said it so well) nothing, but what a grand Nothing it has become! Love your blog!

    • Thanks for stopping by and reblogging, CofD. I appreciate the interest and look forward to reading more on your blog. I come from similar times and am curious about your story.
I hope that “mob” put smile on your face. It did that for me 🙂

  2. What’s better (and more solid) than a flash mob?! I LOVE it! I wish Cupcake could be in a flashmob, even just to watch. Also, why didn’t I ever learn to play the oboe or bassoon or whatever that thing is with the gold tube sticking out. It’s awesome.

    • I was looking at that long stretch of stick, too. That thing is cool, but the whole video blew me away. Cupcake might be afraid of a musical flash mob, or she might stand on her hind legs and dance! 🙂

    • Very. Gracious of him to thank us. You know, this blogging has restored my faith in humanity. So many kind, caring, wonderful people out there. This is way better than watching the news. (I know I need to be aware of what’s happening out in the world, but this blogging is bringing more pleasant experiences into my life.) 🙂

  3. Hey,Hey! What an awesome thing; I have never heard of a Flash Mob but I Really do Like them A LOT! lol! At the end there was a vid to a similar group (sorry, flash mob 😉 !!) and they played my all time favourite “Bolero” in Copenhagen; Now for thAt I wish I was there!! Good idea for the theme!! Immie 🙂

    • Hey, Immie. I’ve seen a few and they’re all pretty cool, but I never saw one like this. Good find :-). Thanks for dropping by. I’m enjoying your new blog.

    • Thanks!
Enjoyed your Typesetter’s Shop photo. Although I don’t have the talent for all that you do, I wish I did. Very much so. Sometimes you can have the desire for and the love of something, but it just doesn’t cross over to paper, pencil, camera, canvas… I can appreciate the pic. The mind is willing, but the talent is weak 😦 I look, love, live, and learn (what I can). Maybe in my next life 🙂
      Thanks for sharing.

Feel free to express your (kind) thoughts.
