The old tree moves out and makes room for new growth
In looking up the definition of “resolved” I found this:
1. firm in purpose or intent; determined.
PERFECT!
RESOLVED: I am determined to be kinder to myself and others around me.
This may not seem like a big deal to you, but, to this girl it’s HUGE.
Me: I’ve always been tough on myself, or so I hear. I need to work on that, HARD.
Others: I come off as obstinate and opinionated. I’ve got a very bad delivery. That needs work, too. 🙂

well you are certainly kind and supportive to me! as for being kind to yourself, i had a friend tell me once, ‘lisa, you have no trouble giving, but you have trouble receiving.’ he was right, and now i remind myself that it’s ok to put ‘me’ first sometimes!
we’re all here to learn, and we’re here to teach others – either in negative or positive ways, and to remember to be kind!

we moved out our old Xmas tree – made some free space for fresh tulips …

I also took out the lights and decors of our tree yesterday and though it seemed like a relief that I can finally rest from all the holiday shopping and busy schedules, I do miss those “family” time of just being around the tree, sharing our hope, wishes and laughter. Here’s to an awesome 2013!
