I don’t know how she does it, but Cee has thrown out yet another gaunlet – Which Way.  If your at a loss for roads to travel, bridges to cross, or paths to take, Cee has them waiting for you on her site.  Here a just a few “Which Ways” I’ve taken or observed.

If Cee’s place is a road less traveled, maybe you need to think again.  Click on the street sign below to find your way there.

CEE’S FUN FOTO CHALLENGE – MY 2012 PEOPLE OR ANIMALS

It’s snowing and I’m sitting here thinking about sunshine, warm breezes, beaches, and coconut oil.  I can’t help it.  I’m not a fan of the winter months.  My oil bill could choke a horse, and I’m still just as cold inside as I am outside.  ( can you say “old drafty house?” )

My thoughts turn to summer and a fun trip to the zoo with my beautiful grandkids that I only see once or twice a year. UGH!

So for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week, I decided to showcase a few Cape May NJ zoo animals and any other critters I’ve come by along the way.

Enjoy and have a super happy new year.  Be safe!

And not to forget family and friends

TRAVEL THEME – LIQUID

While wading through some photos to submit to Ailsa‘s Liquid Challenge, I found a few shots that I thought might apply.

But here’s the deal.  A challenge within a challenge.  The photo below was taken at the Cape May Zoo.  I didn’t notice it until my step-son brought it to my attention, but their is a face of sorts in the falls.  Clue:  Look at the top left and refer to the tequila bottle in the gallery.  Do you see it?  Once you do, you won’t be able to look at the falls without seeing it.  There was nothing photoshopped – something I can’t afford 🙂 and no editing was done.  Kind of freaky, really.  Good luck.

TRAVEL THEME – CURVES

When Ailsa at wheresyourbackpack posted this challenge, I immediately thought Marilyn Monroe, spray painted gold, singing Happy Birthday to President Kennedy.  OK.  Maybe that was a dress.  I’m still not sure after all these years.

Now don’t get me wrong.  I love Ms. Monroe, maybe not as much as Jeff does, but I enjoy the heck out of her movies.  But I thought I’d go a different route.

So here are just a few curvatures of my own.  Don’t get too excited.  It’s not what you think.

Curvacious snake at the Cape May Zoo, in none other than Cape May, NJ

Twists and turns and swirls and curves hanging from the ceiling at the Borgata Casino – AC, NJ

Delicate curves of the flamingos necks, also at the Cape May Zoo

Subtle curves of a wine rack we came across – Jeff makes the stuff, remember…

Our grandson, taking the curves in our living room – that’s his version of a peace sign as he shouts “Peace Out!” (If you know anything about me, you know kids or grand kids are going to be involved, if at all possible. And I’ll stretch the limits on the challenge if I have to :-). )

OK.  Send the kiddies out of the room because I just couldn’t let it go.

Thanks to Google Images for this photo of Ms. Monroe
